Zimbali Lakes Resort is a premier luxury residential and resort development located on South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal North Coast, near Ballito, an affluent coastal town located about 40 kilometres north of Durban. BEKA Schréder has provided an intelligent LED streetlighting solution for the resort, consisting of the South-African designed and manufactured LEDLUME XP 2 streetlight with Optidim functionality, pre-programmed to dim to 50% light output at night. The installation is complemented by BEKA Schréder’s locally manufactured non-corrosive glass fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) poles, designed to seamlessly blend into the breathtaking KwaZulu-Natal landscape. This solution not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the surroundings but also optimizes energy efficiency while ensuring sufficient illumination for the safety and comfort of all users within the development.
