We are proud to have supplied the dynamic floodlighting solution for the new Huambo Stadium Daniel Cassoma Lutucuta in Angola.
The 10,000-seat multi-purpose sports facility forms part of Angola’s investment in modern, competition-ready sporting infrastructure. Built to meet FIFA, UEFA and World Athletics standards, the Huambo venue features a full international-size pitch, athletics track, dedicated athlete and referee facilities, anti-doping infrastructure and broadcast-ready media zones aligned with UEFA Category IV benchmarks.
The stadium is one of two identical soccer stadiums in Angola, located in Huambo and Uíge, both designed to comply with UEFA and televised lighting standards. We supplied the lighting solution for both stadiums, supporting the country’s broader ambition to strengthen its football infrastructure and position itself to host major continental competitions in the future.

Dynamic lighting for match-day impact
We supplied OMNIBLAST-E MIDI and OMNIBLAST-E MAXI floodlights, together with a DMX control solution for the stadium lighting. The DMX-controlled system enables full programming of the floodlighting installation, allowing the lighting to be adapted for different match-day requirements and entertainment sequences. Through music-reactive control, the lighting can respond to rhythm, tempo and audio cues, synchronising dynamic effects with music during player entrances, celebrations, half-time shows and other stadium events.
The OMNIBLAST-E is the ideal tool for sports venues and other very large area applications that require a lighting solution with the highest efficiency and flexibility to adapt to different lighting needs. Available in MIDI and MAXI variants, this modular LED floodlighting solution offers a high-performance alternative to traditional HID floodlights, while delivering the lighting levels required for professional sports and broadcast applications.
The OMNIBLAST-E ensures superior glare control, a high colour rendering index (CRI), compliance with the required television lighting consistency index (TLCI), and flicker-free illumination. This makes it suitable for UHD/HD/4K broadcast and super slow-motion replays, helping to provide the best possible experience for players, spectators and television audiences.
