Smart Sports Lighting Solution for St John’s Diocesan School for Girls

BEKA Schréder has supplied the smart LED floodlighting solution for St John’s Diocesan School for Girls’ Astro Hockey field in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.

St John's Diocesan School for Girls is a private boarding and day school for girls in Scottsville, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. It was founded in 1897 by the Society of Sisters of St John the Divine and has an Anglican foundation.

The school required floodlighting for their Astro Hockey field. BEKA Schréder’s solution was chosen based on their high-quality product and service offering, as well as the success from another project within the area.

With this lighting solution, the school is now able to not only provide extended coaching sessions for their students, but it has also enabled them to provide their facilities to host domestic and Inter Provincial Tournament (IPT) matches.
