Smart Lighting for Herschel Girls Hockey Field

BEKA Schréder is proud to have supplied the smart LED floodlighting solution for the newly refurbished Herschel Girls School’s hockey field in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Herschel Girls School, an independent Anglican school for girls founded in 1922, is located on a historic campus in Claremont, Cape Town, and offers education from Grade 000 to Grade 12. Ranked 14th nationally for Girls’ Hockey, the school recently upgraded from traditional HID systems to BEKA Schréder’s state-of-the-art LED technology using OMNIBLAST-E MAXI floodlights. The lighting is effortlessly controlled via the Schréder ITERRA wireless management system.

With this new installation, energy savings of at least 40% can be achieved even without dimming. When combined with Schréder ITERRA for dimming control, the energy savings increase even further.

Smart Hockey Field Lighting

BEKA Schréder’s LED floodlight, the OMNIBLAST-2-E MAXI, illuminates the Herschel Girls School’s hockey field. Integrated with the Schréder ITERRA lighting control system, users are able to control the lighting, enabling them to entertain their supporters with a spectacular light show whilst supporting their team.
