Emergency Lighting Solutions
We offer a wide range of high-quality, South-African designed and manufactured LED luminaires suitable for Emergency lighting applications.
Since 1978, we have been designing and manufacturing luminaires which are suitable for Africa’s harsh environmental conditions. More than ten years ago, we embraced LED technology and the benefits associated with it. We are the leading LED luminaire manufacturer in Africa.
We offer a wide range of emergency lighting luminaires, suitable for various applications, some of which are introduced below.
LEDNOVA – a robust and versatile LED bulkhead range
The LEDNOVA range sets a benchmark in lighting for industrial applications. This South-African designed and manufactured LED luminaire offers optimal photometric performance and high reliability to reduce energy consumption and maintenance in all types of lighting applications. This industrial luminaire range is ideal for general lighting, security lighting, and many other applications, delivering instant white light with a high colour rendering index and 100% light output. The slim and unique design is optimising the thermal dissipation to enable a long useful lifetime and low maintenance. The LEDNOVA range is designed to accommodate various mounting options. It can be installed in hazardous environments (Zone 2 and 21/22), and it offers an integrated battery system for emergency lighting applications.
LEDTEC – LED lowbay
The LEDTEC is an LED lowbay range designed for energy-efficient lighting in industrial, commercial and petrochemical retail environments. The recently launched LEDTEC lowbay forms part of our broader LEDTEC Range, which incorporates the LEDTEC R (recessed version) and the LEDTEC S (surface mount version). It can be surface mounted with optional lugs for centre beam mounting or via mounting holes to mount directly to the canopy. It boasts an optional integrated 1-hour battery back-up and an optional integrated movement and daylight sensor for additional energy savings. The luminaire has been designed in such a way that the control gear and optional emergency control gear are easily accessible for ease of maintenance.
LEDBAY – LED lowbay and highbay
Available with three typical lumen packages, various light distributions and mounting options, the LEDBAY is perfectly suited to multiple indoor and outdoor lighting applications.
Thanks to its reliable performance, low dust accumulation and no need for relamping, the LEDBAY minimises maintenance costs. It is available for Emergency and Zone applications.
SERIES 300 – decorative LED bulkhead
The SERIES 300 with its halo lighting effect is the ideal solution to beautify buildings and to provide area lighting for commercial developments, retail areas, shopping malls and public buildings. High-quality materials are used to ensure a high ingress protection and non-discolouring diffuser. This, together with the long lifetime of the LEDs, and an easy installation procedure, makes the SERIES 300 the bulkhead of choice. It is available in an Emergency version.
DUISA – emergency lighting range
The DUISA is a wall-mounted emergency lighting range with an optional ceiling mounted version. Various signage options are available. It has an ingress protection rating of up to IP 65 with a 3-hour battery back-up and includes an LED charge indication light. A long lifetime is guaranteed due to its overcurrent protection and its protection against excessive battery discharge. Installation is facilitated by the quick-fit plug-in system. There are four possible cable inlets, three on the side for tubes and one at the back.
Conclusion
Our objective is to provide the right lighting solutions by optimising the optical and mechanical design of luminaires. Using contemporary technologies, their goal is to always offer intelligent and sustainable lighting solutions in order to reduce energy consumption, as well as the overall cost of ownership.
We locally develop and manufacture LED lighting products, designed and suitable for local conditions.
