Dedicated to securing the long-term sustainability of the sport, Bedfordview Country Club Bowls continues to create new opportunities to promote bowls and generate additional income through innovative initiatives such as Business Leagues and Fun Night Bowls. This year, the club celebrated an extraordinary milestone — 100 years of bowling excellence. To honour this legacy and further invest in the future, Bedfordview Country Club Bowls has upgraded its facilities with modern floodlighting, ensuring the greens will continue to shine brightly for decades to come.
Our OMNIBLAST-1-E MIDI floodlights, mounted on 6 m poles and delivering an average of 200 lx, now illuminate the greens. The installation is Schréder ITERRA–ready, meaning the wireless lighting control platform can easily be added in Phase 2. This will enable remote switching, adjustable light levels (such as lower levels for practice and higher levels for competitions), and additional energy savings.
